RULES & REGULATIONS / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1.      All the users are requested to enter their names in the USERS REGISTER first before Internet browsing or personal use.

2.      The users are requested to make use of Internet for Online Educational Resources and Information Search only and not for playing games, accessing social networking sites, and any other offensive programmes.

3.      Installation or Uninstallation of any new program or service or any application tools in any computer is strictly prohibited.

4.      Use or Attachment of any device like USB drive, Flash Drive/Pen Drive/Card Readers/Mobiles, etc. is strictly banned.

5.      The use of computer should be allowed for a time allocated by the Librarian. The users may be asked to give opportunity for others to use computers as and when required.

6.      All the users are requested to maintain silence and cleanliness in Computer/Internet Section of Central Library.

7.      Creation, Display, Importation, Circulation, Duplication, Offensive Material or Storage or Change in System Setup is strictly prohibited.

8.      All the users are requested to handle/operate the Computer devices, CD-ROMs and other tools very carefully so that it cannot be damaged.

9.      Kindly report to the Librarian in case of non-functioning of any computer device or program.

10.  Violation of the any rules above mentioned shall lead to the disciplinary action.
